TEFMA COVID-19 Webinar Series: Proactive Space Management in a Post-COVID world
Dr Jan Dethlefs, University of Melbourne
What will you get from this presentation?
Universities, together with other operators of large spaces are currently facing a dilemma: how to return to business as fast as possible, while at the same time providing a safe environment? As the behaviour of individuals is the driving factor for viral spread, key to answering this question will be understanding and monitoring the dynamics of how people move and interact while on campus.
A fast and cost-effective process for proactive crowd management and virus tracking will be demonstrated with examples and explanations how this will help rebuilding the trust of staff and visitors in a safe and well managed work and study environment. It will also be demonstrated how the methodologies shown above can be used for managing space efficiency in a post-COVID world.
Who should attend:
Staff, management, and operators of large spaces with high visitor numbers, e.g. Universities, who want to proactively manage the return to business after the COVID lockdown.
