TEMC 2019 - Volunteer / Intern Program
In 2019 TEMC are offering a limited number of Volunteer/internship opportunities to gain experience in supporting conference attendees/delegates at the Tertiary Education Management Conference.
We are looking for people who have a background in Event Management, Social Media, Public Relations, Logistics, Tourism and Hospitality.
This program is particularly suited to early-career university staff and students in their 2nd or 3rd year of their degree.
The volunteer/internship program gives you the opportunity to gain real world experience and develop your skills for the workplace.
Should you join the Volunteer / Intern Program?
- Do you want to gain experience in assisting with the on-site operation of a large event?
- Do you have good people skills and want to assist supporting conference attendees throughout the three day event?
- Can you contribute to the positive conference experience and generate a positive energy, both on the floor and via our social media avenues (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)?
If you answered yes to the above, then the Volunteer / Intern Program is for you!

Along with supplying your details, you must outline in 500 words or less why you would like to be a TEMC volunteer/intern and how you meet the criteria; and provide 3 examples of social media posts you might do to outline the day's events on two different mediums (i.e. Facebook and Instagram).
Please note: if you are not based in Adelaide, you will need to support your own attendance at this event (flights/accommodation etc).
