Cox Rayner Architects are renowned across many fields of architecture but in particular public and cultural buildings, education buildings and campuses, exhibition and convention centres and commercial buildings.

We are especially interested in the way buildings, new and existing, connect physically and technologically to foster interaction and collaboration. In the education sector, examples include the South Bank Institute of Technology campus and All Hallows School in Brisbane.

Our focus upon connectivity is reflected in our social infrastructure projects such as the Goodwill Pedestrian Bridge and the Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge linking the Brisbane CBD to South Bank. This focus also extends to wide urban design strategies for Government and Council, such as the Smart Cities strategy for Brisbane.
Cox Rayner’s environmental design capabilities are represented in our designing Queensland’s first 5-Star (As built) and 6-Star (Design) commercial buildings. Our priority is not only on generating energy, water and waste efficiencies, but significantly reducing recurrent and life cycle costs.
