2019 TEFMA Clever Campus Awards
Last week Adelaide hosted the TEM Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre with a record number of registrations totalling 918. This year's theme, 'Distilling Ideas, Transforming Futures' was based on sharing ideas to discover how we can distill the brilliance in everyone to transform higher education through exploring alternative visions of the future. The event was a great success and we hope those who attended have taken some new skills and knowledge back to their workplace.
As part of the TEMC celebrations, TEFMA hosted their annual Clever Campus Awards Dinner at the Adelaide Town Hall.
The MC for the night was performer, writer and producer, Brian Nankervis (commonly known for his role on music trivia game show, RocKwiz).
Full of energy and enthusiasm, Brian had everyone in laughter all evening whilst having attendees join him for a sing-a-long, stepping it out for the nutbush or showing off their best Mick Jagger moves.
The evening finished with the handover of presidency from Garry Bradley to Wayne Millar. Keep an eye out for Wayne's President Welcome which will be sent out to members in the coming week.
The purpose for the evening is to recognise those playing an important role in the FM sector and we would like to thank those who submitted applications for the 2019 TEFMA Clever Campus Awards and Scholarships. As mentioned throughout, there were a lot of high quality submissions received and we encourage members to keep an eye out for the opening of the 2020 Clever Campus Awards.

The Awards Dinner also saw TEFMA say goodbye to Glen Scott who is retiring from Schneider Electric at the end of the year.
